Foreign Minister Wang Yi Holds Group Meeting with Deputy Foreign Ministers of China, Russia and Mongolia

On March 23, 2015, Foreign Minister Wang Yi held a group meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Deputy Foreign Minister Igor V. Morgulov of Russia and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs N.Oyundari of Mongolia who were in China for the second round of trilateral consultation among Deputy Foreign Ministers of China, Mongolia and Russia. Vice Foreign Minister Cheng Guoping was present.

Wang Yi expressed that China, Russia and Mongolia are important neighbors to each other, and the development of trilateral cooperation is an important consensus reached by heads of state of the three countries, which serves the common interests of the three sides. He hoped that all three sides can bring the role of their foreign ministries into full play in policy guidance and comprehensive coordination, continuously tap potentials, explore mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation projects, and push the trilateral cooperation for early harvest and stable progress.

Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs N.Oyundari extended their gratitude for the meeting of Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and expressed that both Russia and Mongolia give high priority to developing relations with China in their diplomacy. The two countries pay high attention to trilateral cooperation, and are ready to make concerted efforts with China for positive cooperation outcomes.
