Li Keqiang Meets with Deputy Prime Minister Yury Petrovich Trutnev of Russia

On the afternoon of September 9, 2015, Premier Li Keqiang met at Dalian International Conference Center with Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Petrovich Trutnev of Russia, who was in China to attend the Summer Davos Forum 2015.

Li Keqiang stated that China-Russia relations enjoy a sound development and bilateral cooperation in various fields is progressing smoothly. China is willing to work with Russia to expand local cooperation, the development cooperation between Northeast China and Russian Far East in particular. He hoped that both sides will enrich the connotations of the Far East development cooperation through cooperation in various fields such as production capacity, infrastructure construction, resource development and deep processing, high technology and innovation, making China-Russia Far East development cooperation a new highlight of bilateral practical cooperation in the next phase.

Yury Petrovich Trutnev said that Russia and China enjoy a smooth development in all-round exchanges and cooperation. Russia is carrying out large-scale development and construction in the Far East and is willing to see more Chinese enterprises participate in cooperation projects on infrastructure construction such as transportation and ports.
