2015/11/11

On November 10 local time, when answering questions from journalists in Manila, capital of the Philippines, Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed that the South China Sea arbitration case is a knot hampering the improvement and development of China-Philippines relations, “One's fault should be amended by oneself”, and “It is hoped that the Philippine side will make a wiser choice”.

Wang Yi gave an interview to the media the same day upon concluding his working visit to the Philippines. On the question of China’s stance on the South China Sea arbitration case, Wang Yi said that it is a knot hampering the improvement and development of China-Philippines relations. “We do not hope the knot get tighter and tighter and even become a deadlock. How to loosen and open the knot lies on the Philippine side, because one's fault should be amended by oneself, and we hope the Philippine side will make a wiser choice”.
