Xi Jinping Accepts Credentials from Twelve Newly-appointed Ambassadors to China

On May 17, 2016, President Xi Jinping accepted credentials presented by 12 newly-appointed Ambassadors to China at the Great Hall of the People. They are Afghan Ambassador to China Janan Mosazai, Grenada Ambassador to China Denis Godwin Antoine, Armenian Ambassador to China Sergey Manasaryan, Saudi Arabian Ambassador to China Turki.M.A.Almadi, Argentine Ambassador to China Diego Ramiro Guelar, Algerian Ambassador to China Ahcene Boukhelfa, Tajik Ambassador to China Davlatzoda Parviz, Vanuatu Ambassador to China Nguk Yang Dennis Nai, Palestinian Ambassador to China Fariz Mehdawi, Equatorial Guinean Ambassador to China German Ekua Sima Abaga , Sierra Leonean Ambassador to China Alimamy Philip Koroma and Japanese Ambassador to China Yutaka Yokoi.

Xi Jinping welcomed the ambassadors to assume new posts in China and asked them to convey his sincere greetings and good wishes to leaders and people of concerned countries. Xi Jinping spoke positively of the sound relations between China and their countries as well as the profound friendship between the Chinese people and people of these countries, pointing out that attaching great importance to developing relations with these countries, China is willing to further consolidate traditional friendship, enhance political mutual trust, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, and strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges so as to realize common prosperity. The Chinese government will provide convenience and support for the work of the Ambassadors and hopes that they will actively contribute to bilateral relations and cooperation in various areas between China and relevant countries.

The Ambassadors conveyed their state leaders' sincere greetings to Xi Jinping and good wishes to the Chinese people and positively evaluated China's rapid development as well as its important role in international affairs. They said that their countries pay high attention to developing relations with China and regard relations with China as a diplomatic priority. They feel greatly honored to serve as ambassadors to China, and will devote their best efforts in promoting friendly cooperation between their countries and China and deepening mutual understanding between their people and the Chinese people in order to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
