President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC):

Ⅰ. Li Huaxin was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, replacing Li Chengwen.

II. Sun Xianghua was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Lesotho, replacing Hu Dingxian.

III. Wang Xianmin was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Antigua and Barbuda, replacing Ren Gongping.

IV. Wu Jie was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Chad.

V. Huang Qinguo was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, replacing Yuan Guisen.

VI. Du Wei was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Ukraine, replacing Zhang Xiyun.

VII. Zhang Haizhou was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Bulgaria, replacing Wei Jinghua.
