APEC High Level Meeting on Human Capacity Building will be held in Beijing from May 15 to 16. President Jiang Zemin and Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam will attend the meeting which was jointly proposed by President Jiang Zemin and the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam at last year's APEC Informal Leadership Meeting. The meeting will mainly discuss how to strengthen APEC human capacity building against the background of globalization and new economy and the ways and modes of cooperation in this field among the governments, business communities and educational and acadamic circles.
