On April 10, 2012, Assistant Foreign Minister Le Yucheng attended the CIIS Forum hosted by China Institute of International Studies (CIIS) and delivered a keynote speech with the title of China's Relations with the World at a New Starting Point. He elaborated opinions on how to view the world, China and China's diplomacy under new circumstances and took questions of the participants and journalists.

Hosted by the CIIS, the CIIS Forum was presided over by Qu Xing, President of the CIIS and attended by more than 200 delegates, including foreign diplomats in China, representatives of international organizations in Beijing, experts, scholars and Chinese and foreign journalists.
