On November 6, 2019, Director-General of the Department of North American and Oceanian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Lu Kang met at request with a Canadian delegation to the fourth meeting of the China-Canada Track II Dialogue. The delegation was led by Gordon Houlden, Director of China Institute of the University of Alberta. Both sides exchanged views on China-Canada relations and other issues.
