On October 31, 2016, Special Representative of the Chinese Government for Korean Peninsula Affairs Wu Dawei met in Beijing with newly-appointed Special Representative for North Korea Policy of the Department of State Joseph Yun of the US, who is also head of the US Delegation for Six-party Talks. Both sides exchanged views on the Korean Peninsula situation and other relevant issues.
