Xi Jinping Leaves Beijing for State Visits to the Republic of Ecuador, the Republic of Peru and the Republic of Chile and Attendance at the 24th APEC Economic Leaders' Summit Held in Lima of Peru

On the morning of November 16, 2016, at the invitation of President Rafael Correa Delgado of the Republic of Ecuador, President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski of the Republic of Peru and President Michelle Bachelet Jeria of the Republic of Chile, President Xi Jinping left Beijing by special plane for state visits to Ecuador, Peru and Chile. At the invitation of President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski of the Republic of Peru, President Xi Jinping will attend the 24th APEC Economic Leaders’ Summit held in Lima of Peru.

Members of Xi Jinping's delegation include his wife Mme. Peng Liyuan, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee Wang Huning, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee Li Zhanshu, State Councilor Yang Jiechi and others.
