On Janurary 11, Consul General TONG Xiaoling met with Hon. Bruce Ralston, Minister of Jobs, Trade and Technology of British Columbia, Hon. George Chow, Minister of State for Trade, and Assistant Deputy Minister Brian Krieger.

The two sides exchanged views on BC Premier John Horgan's upcoming visit to China, China-Canada relations and the cooperation between China and British Columbia in trade, technology, finance and people-to-people exchanges, and agreed to foster more new highlights in bilateral cooperation. Consul General TONG conveyed her best wishes to Premier John Horgan and his team for a successful visit to China later this month and reaffirmed the Chinese Consulate General would be pleased to provide necessary assistance.
