On February 15, 2023, Assistant Foreign Minister Nong Rong visited the ASEAN-China Centre, and had exchanges with Secretary-General Shi Zhongjun and the whole staff of the Center on ASEAN-China cooperation and the work of the ASEAN-China Centre. Nong Rong said that since its establishment, the Centre has actively implemented the common understandings reached between leaders of China and ASEAN, and played a positive role in promoting bilateral exchanges and cooperation in trade, investment, culture, tourism, education and the press. As the host country, China will, as always, fully support the work of the Centre, build a bridge of communication for ASEAN-China cooperation and promote the development of China-ASEAN comprehensive strategic partnership.
