On April 11, 2023, Director-General of the Department of Arms Control of the Foreign Ministry Sun Xiaobo and Director of the Security Policy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Joost Flamand held the China-Netherlands consultations on arms control and non-proliferation in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on the international and regional security situation, arms control, non-proliferation and other issues.
