President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Shen Minjuan (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Mongolia, replacing Chai Wenrui.

II. Wang Wenli (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, replacing Xiao Jianguo.

III. Li Yan (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Congo, replacing Ma Fulin.

IV. Yin Chengwu was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Liberia, replacing Ren Yisheng.

V. Cai Ge was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Slovak Republic, replacing Sun Lijie.

VI. Li Ming was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Serbia, replacing Chen Bo (female).

VII. Yao Jing was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Spain and the Principality of Andorra, replacing Wu Haitao.
