China and Japan Will Hold the Fifth Round of Consultation on the East China Sea Issue

Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao announces:

The fifth round of China-Japan consultation on the East China Sea issue will be held in Tokyo, Japan May 18. Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of Chinese Foreign Ministry Hu Zhengyue and Director of the Asia and Oceania Bureau of Japan's Foreign Ministry Kenichiro Sasae will head the Chinese and Japanese delegation respectively to attend the consultation. Both sides will continue to exchange opinions on the East China Sea issue.
