On December 15 2004, Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council held talks with his Pakistani counterpart Aziz. During the talks, Aziz declared that the Pakistani side recognizes China's full market economy status. Both of the two sides believe that this will help to promote further developments in the bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
