On August 29, 2023, Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong met with Additional Secretary of the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Kamran Akhtar. Sun Weidong said that China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic cooperative partners.
