On November 13, 2017, Director-General of the Department of Arms Control of the Foreign Ministry Wang Qun held consultation in Beijing with UN Under Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs Izumi Nakamistu. Both sides exchanged views on the deliberation process of the Treaty on the Non-proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue, the Iranian nuclear issue, outer space, cyber security, China's cooperation with United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs and other issues.
