The Parties shall exchange legislation and other information relating to the aspects of public health within their respective jurisdictions and available resources.
The Parties shall encourage and facilitate specialists from each respective country to make working visits in the other side upon conditions approved by both sides through consultation.
The Parties will encourage the cooperation between health institutions, including hospitals of the two countries.
The Parties shall encourage and facilitate arrangements for training and postgraduate studies for doctors and paramedical personnel in accordance with the needs defined by both sides through bilateral deliberations.
The Parties agree to coordinate consultations on the recruitment of doctors and paramedical personnel to work in the other country for periods and conditions as defined by both sides through consultation, and on the ground of the applicable rules and regulations of each country.
The Parties will encourage and facilitate cooperation between scientific research institutions in their respective countries.
In order to implement this Protocol, the two Parties shall sign a Plan of Action for a period of two years. The Plan of Action shall organize the cooperative and financial aspects.
This Protocol will come into effect upon the date of its signature by the Parties and will remain valid as long as the cooperation agreement is effective, unless terminated by either Party by giving 90 days notice in writing to the other Party prior to the specific date of termination.
DONE in Muscat on 26th April, 1992 in two originals in the Arabic language, in two originals in the Chinese language, and in two originals in the English language. Each copy is having the legal title.
In case of discrepancy of interpretation, the English text shall prevail.
