From August 30 to September 8, 2023, Special Envoy on Afghan Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yue Xiaoyong visited upon invitation Pakistan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, and had an exchange of views on the Afghan issue respectively with senior officials of the foreign ministries of the three countries, responsible officials of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, and representatives of the Afghan interim government.
