Xie Xiaoyan meets with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Walid Muallem

From July 25 to 27, 2018, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Syrian Issue Xie Xiaoyan visited Syria, during which he met on separate occasions with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Walid Muallem, Minister of State for National Reconciliation Affairs Ali Haidar and Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal al-Mekdad of Syria. They exchanged in-depth views on the Syrian issue.

During his stay in Syria, Xie Xiaoyan also gave a joint interview to Chinese and Syrian media.
