Chinese Government Assists in Evacuating Nationals of 10 Countries Including Pakistan from Yemen

At 16:25 p.m. April 2, Beijing time, Chinese Navy Vessel "Linyi", carrying 225 nationals of 10 countries in Yemen, left Aden Port of Yemen for Djibouti.

The evacuation, a humanitarian rescue mission carried out by the Chinese government at the request of relevant countries, evacuated nationals of Pakistan, Ethiopia, Singapore, Italy, Germany, Poland, Ireland, the UK, Canada, Yemen and other countries. The Chinese government attached high importance to the mission, the Foreign Ministry coordinated with relevant countries to elaborately organize the mission, and the Chinese navy dispatched the vessel to Aden Port for the evacuation mission in the first place. Chinese embassies and consulates in Yemen, Aden, Djibouti and others conquered numerous difficulties and timely and properly completed relevant procedures, going all out to ensure the safe evacuation of nationals of relevant countries.

Before that, the Chinese government, when evacuating its own nationals from Yemen, also assisted in safely evacuating 8 nationals of Romania, India, Egypt and other countries from Yemen.
