Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Eurasian Affairs Li Hui Attends the Reception Marking the Independence Day of Armenia

On September 23, 2021, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Eurasian Affairs Li Hui attended the reception marking the Independence Day of Armenia held by the Armenian Embassy in China upon invitation.

In his speech, Li Hui congratulated Armenia on its Independence Day and said that since the establishment of diplomatic ties 29 years ago, China-Armenia relations have maintained a sound and stable momentum of development. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, the two countries have worked together to overcome the difficulties and written a touching chapter in the joint fight against the pandemic. In 2021, China celebrates the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China grandly and embarks on a new journey to fully build a modern socialist country. Armenia is making every effort to implement its Transformation Strategy 2050. The two countries and our bilateral relations have reached a new historical starting point and are facing new development opportunities. China is ready to work with Armenia to enhance mutual support, deepen cooperation in various fields and push bilateral relations to new levels constantly.

Armenian Ambassador to China Sergey Manasaryan spoke highly of the bilateral relations and the bilateral cooperation in economy and trade, culture, science and technology, education and other fields. He thanked China for its valuable support for Armenia's economic and social development, and said that Armenia is willing to work with China to deepen Belt and Road cooperation, and push for new and greater development of friendly bilateral relations and cooperation.
