On May 28, 2019, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Hanhui met with the visiting Deputy Foreign Minister Ramiz Ayvaz oglu Hasanov of Azerbaijan. They exchanged views on bilateral relations and issues of common concern. After the meeting, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Hanhui and Deputy Foreign Minister Ramiz Ayvaz oglu Hasanov together attended the foundation-laying ceremony for the new premises of the Azerbaijani Embassy in China and the National Day reception held by the Embassy.
