On June 14, 2017, Assistant Foreign Minister Li Huilai and Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania of Georgia held political consultation between the two Foreign Ministries in Beijing.

Both sides exchanged in-depth views on bilateral relations, cooperation in the joint construction of the “Belt and Road” and international and regional issues of common concern, and expressed that the two sides will make joint efforts to constantly elevate China-Georgia friendly cooperative relations to new highs.
