Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Eurasian Affairs Li Hui Attends the Reception Marking the Independence Day of Georgia

On June 9, 2023, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Eurasian Affairs Li Hui attended and addressed the reception marking the Independence Day of Georgia held by the Embassy of Georgia in China upon invitation.

Li Hui said that China and Georgia are friendly partners of cooperation. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations 31 years ago, China-Georgia relations have always seen a sound and steady development. The two countries have established a high level of political mutual trust, given each other understanding and support on issues concerning each other's core interests, and continuously deepened exchanges and cooperation in various fields. China is ready to work with Georgia to continue the traditional friendship, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, share development opportunities, write a new chapter in China-Georgia Belt and Road cooperation, and elevate China-Georgia friendly cooperative relations to a new level.

Georgian Ambassador to China Archil Kalandia spoke highly of the development of bilateral relations and the achievements of bilateral cooperation in various fields, saying that Georgia regards China as an all-round cooperative partner and is willing to continuously promote Belt and Road cooperation with China and constantly enrich bilateral relations.
