On the evening of April 27, 2010, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi at request held a telephone conversation with Mexican Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa, exchanging views on bilateral ties, coping with climate change and other issues of common concern.

Espinosa wished the upcoming Shanghai World Expo a great success, for which Foreign Minster Yang expressed thanks.
