On June 19, 2015, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui met with Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs M'hamed Ezzine Chlaifa of Tunisia, who was in China for political consultation between the two foreign ministries. The two sides exchanged views on China-Tunisia relations and international and regional topics of common interest.

On the same day, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming and Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs M'hamed Ezzine Chlaifa co-chaired the political consultation between the two foreign ministries of China and Tunisia.
