I hope to, through this visit, discuss with Tunisia on how to adapt to current new situation and new changes, expand China-Tunisia cooperation in new areas and open up new prospects of China-Tunisia relations on the basis of inheriting traditional friendship between the two countries and in accordance with the development needs of Tunisia. China stands ready to become a friendly and cooperative partner of Tunisia in its new process of national development. Both sides could carry out mutually beneficial cooperation through three channels including bilateral channels, Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and China-Arab States Cooperation Forum. It is hoped that the two sides can translate the traditional friendship into the impetus and achievements of practical cooperation as soon as possible. With strong competitiveness in infrastructure construction, China is vigorously promoting its advanced production capacity and technical equipments to go global. China is willing to encourage Chinese enterprises to actively participate in cooperation of major infrastructure projects in Tunisia, hoping that Tunisia can provide better investment and security environments to this end.
