Zhang Ming said that enjoying a profound traditional friendship, the China-Angola relations have always maintained a healthy and steady development. Since the establishment of bilateral strategic partnership in 2010, the relations between China and Angola have developed rapidly, with increasingly deepened political mutual trust, fruitful results in practical cooperation and closer international cooperation. China always views the China-Angola relations from a strategic and long-term perspective and is willing to join efforts with the Angolan side to increase the exchanges of high-level visits and comprehensively promote communication and cooperation in various fields, so as to push forward the China-Angola relations to a new high.

The Angolan side extended warm welcome to Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming for his visit and their gratitude to China for its strong support for the post-war reconstruction of the country. They said that Angola attaches great importance to developing Angola-China strategic partnership. The Angolan side stands ready to enhance the exchanges between the leaders of the two countries, to further expand the fields in practical cooperation, and to improve the bilateral cooperation mechanism, so as to promote an in-depth development of Angola-China relations and better contribute to the economic and social development of the two countries.
