BEIJING, Sept. 2 , Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Zhao Leji on Sunday met with Angolan President Joao Lourenco who will attend the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).

China has always considered Angola as a trustworthy friend and good brother, said Zhao, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC.

Noting that this year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and Angola, and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the party-to-party relations between the two countries' ruling parties, Zhao called for efforts to boost China-Angola strategic partnership.

Angola hopes to learn from China's anti-corruption experience and strengthen cooperation with China in all areas, Lourenco said, adding that he believes that this FOCAC Beijing Summit will advance the Africa-China and Angola-China cooperation and their common development.
