On September 21, 2012, Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun was invited to a reception celebrating the 46th anniversary of independence of Botswana. Zhai held friendly talks with Botswana's Ambassador to China Sasara Chasala George on bilateral ties, the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation as well as issues of common concern.
