On October 12, 2016, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming attended at invitation the reception marking the 48th anniversary of Equatorial Guinea's independence, during which he exchanged views with Equatorial Guinean Ambassador to China Ekua Avomo on bilateral relations.
