On March 22, 2019, Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs Cui Aimin met with newly-appointed Kenyan Ambassador to China Sarah Serem at request. Both sides exchanged views on deepening consular cooperation between China and Kenya, facilitating bilateral personnel exchanges and other issues.
