On August 15, 2022, Director-General of the Protocol Department of the Foreign Ministry Hong Lei accepted the copies of credentials presented by Mary Muthoni Gichohi, the newly-appointed Ambassador of Kenya to China, and Jacques Jean Luc Nyanga, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of the Congo to China, who arrived in China on July 30 and August 1, 2022 respectively.
