On June 10, 2015, Assistant Foreign Minister Qian Hongshan met with visiting Cabinet Secretary Sateeaved Seebaluck of Mauritius and his delegation.

Qian Hongshan congratulated the signing of a memorandum of understanding on expanding air traffic rights arrangement between China and Mauritius, and expressed that the Chinese side stands ready to make joint efforts with the Mauritian side to continue to expand bilateral practical cooperation in various fields, so as to bring tangible benefits to the two peoples.

Sateeaved Seebaluck appreciated the warm reception of the Chinese side, and expressed that China is an important development partner of Mauritius. The Mauritian side stands ready to work with the Chinese side to advance Mauritius-China friendly cooperative relations to another new stage.

Both sides also exchanged views on bilateral practical cooperation in finance, tourism, human resources development and other fields.
