Wang Yi Meets with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah of Namibia

On March 28, 2018, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met in Beijing with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah of Namibia, exchanging views on the upcoming state visit of President Hage Geingob of Namibia to China and China-Namibia relations.

Wang Yi expressed that since the establishment of diplomatic relations 28 years ago, China and Namibia have always supported and trusted each other. Bilateral friendly relations have withstood the test of international vicissitudes and always been enjoying sound and smooth development. At the invitation of President Xi Jinping, President Hage Geingob will pay a state visit to China. China is willing to make joint efforts with Namibia to ensure a complete and smooth visit, so as to elevate bilateral relations to higher levels.

Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah said that President Hage Geingob is full of expectation for his visit to China. It is believed that under the joint efforts of both sides, the visit will surely achieve success, and inject new vitality into the development of bilateral relations.
