On April 11, 2017, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming met with President of Party for Democracy and Socialism and Minister of State for the Interior Mohamed Bazoum of Niger, who was invited by the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to visit China. The two sides exchanged views on China-Niger relations and other international and regional issues of common concern.
