On July 4, 2018, Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng met with visiting Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and East African Community Olivier Nduhungirehe of Rwanda. Both sides exchanged views on China-Rwanda relations, China-Africa relations and other topics of common interest.
