Li Yuanchao Meets with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Samura Kamara of Sierra Leone

On June 15, 2016, Vice President Li Yuanchao met at the Great Hall of the People with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Samura Kamara of Sierra Leone.

Li Yuanchao said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations 45 years ago, both countries have always shared sincere friendship, treated each other as equals, worked in unity and helped each another. It is hoped that both sides can make efforts to implement the important consensus reached by leaders of both countries, grasp the opportunity of the "ten major cooperation plans" proposed at Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, give full play to the complementary advantages of the economies of the two countries and orderly boost practical cooperation in various fields, so as to achieve mutual benefit, win-win results as well as common development.

Samura Kamara expressed that Sierra Leone and China enjoy a brotherly traditional friendship. Sierra Leone sincerely thanks China for its precious support to the national construction of Sierra Leone, and expects greater progress in bilateral cooperation.
