On May 23, 2013, Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun met in the Foreign Ministry with Deputy Foreign Minister of Malawi Abel Kayembe, who is visiting China for the "Seminar of Presidential Advisors on Economic and Social Development in African Countries". Both sides exchanged views on China-Malawi relations and other issues of common interest.
