On April 25, 2012, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun met with Andros Kyprianou, visiting general secretary of the Progressive Party of the Working People of Cyprus. Both sides made ​​positive comments on relations between the CPC and the Progressive Party of the Working People of Cyprus as well as between both countries and exchanged views on further strengthening China-Cyprus and China-EU relations.
