Li Keqiang Meets with Prime Minister Edi Rama of Albania

In the morning of December 17 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with Prime Minister Edi Rama of Albania in Belgrade.

Li Keqiang said that China and Albania enjoys profound traditional friendship. This year, the two sides celebrated the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Albania diplomatic relationship together. China is willing to join efforts the Albanian side to promote the China-Albania relations for a higher level. China stands ready to take an active part in the cooperation in the infrastructure including highway, railway and port in Albania, discuss with the country on expanding the financing channels and enriching the financing approaches, and continue to encourage Chinese enterprises to invest and construct cement plants in Albania and participate in the cooperation projects related to the mining resources, economic parks, tourism facilities and other fields. It is hoped that Albania could provide more convenience and policy support.

Edi Rama expressed that the sound cooperation between Albania and other countries in the region and China is crucial to the country and the region at large and conduces to regional peace and development. Albania is ready to expand cooperation with the Chinese side in economy, trade, agriculture, infrastructure construction, education and other fields and welcomes China's enterprises to invest and establish business in Albania to conduct industrial transfer, so as to achieve common development.
