On July 3, 2018, Assistant Foreign Minister Zhang Hanhui attended at invitation the reception marking the independence day of Belarus held by the Belarusian Embassy in China, and exchanged views with Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Valery Mitskevich of Belarus, who was in China for the Forum on the Belt and Road Legal Cooperation, and Belarusian Ambassador to China Rudy Kiryl on such topics as China-Belarus relations.
