Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng Meets with Outgoing Belarusian Ambassador to China Nikolai Snopkov

On June 12, 2020, Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng met with outgoing Belarusian Ambassador to China Nikolai Snopkov, exchanging views on topics including bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields.

Le Yucheng positively commented on Nikolai Snopkov's contributions to promoting the development of China-Belarus relations during his tenure as Ambassador to China, and congratulated Nikolai Snopkov on his appointment as the first Deputy Prime Minister of the Belarusian government. Le Yucheng expressed that both sides should well implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, continue to work together to fight against COVID-19 pandemic, deepen cooperation in jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative, and lift China-Belarus comprehensive strategic partnership to new highs, so as to better benefit the two countries and peoples.

Nikolai Snopkov thanked the Chinese side's strong support during his term of office in China, and expressed that he will continue to actively promote the continuous development of Belarus-China relations in his new position.
