Li Keqiang Meets with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković of Croatia

On the morning of November 5, 2016 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met at the hotel where he stayed in Riga with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković of Croatia.

Li Keqiang noted that appreciating the active efforts Croatia has made in pushing forward China-Croatia relations and cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries, China is willing to encourage Chinese enterprises to, in the principle of equality, reciprocity and win-win results, participate in Croatia's infrastructure construction. It is hoped that the Croatian side can provide favorable conditions and policy support in this regard. The Chinese side supports bilateral cooperation in tourism, which is believed to be not only conducive to people-to-people and cultural exchanges, but also beneficial to the launch of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

Andrej Plenković expressed that Croatia is willing to take the 25th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relationship coming next year as an opportunity to strengthen the alignment between the two countries' development strategies and launch cooperation in equipment manufacturing. Croatia welcomes Chinese enterprises to participate in its infrastructure construction.
