On March 23, 2017, Director-General of Department of Treaty and Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Xu Hong met at request with visiting Deputy to the Supreme Public Prosecutor Pavel Pukovec of the Czech Republic. Ambassador of the Czech Republic to China Bedřich Kopecký and representatives of Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Ministry of Public Security of China were present at the meeting.

Both sides exchanged views on respective legal systems, systems of judicial assistance treaties in criminal matters, and cooperation on individual cases. The meeting is held in a candid, friendly, practical and efficient way, and further enhanced bilateral mutual understanding and trust in the field of judicial assistance.
