China and the Czech Republic are now witnessing an accelerated development in their relationship. China is ready to work with the Czech Republic to advance bilateral strategic partnership to new highs. The two sides should continue to take mutual respect as a political base, enhance cooperation in such areas as high-speed railways, nuclear power and finance, constantly expand exchanges in education, culture, science, technology, health care, tourism, movies and television, locality and other sectors, expand exchanges between young people, and reinforce exchanges and cooperation in winter sports.

China firmly supports the European integration process.

Milos Zeman noted that as a friend of China, the Czech Republic has witnessed an increasingly deepened friendship and cooperation with China in recent years. Strongly supporting the grand "Belt and Road" initiative, the Czech Republic stands ready to actively engage in the cooperation under the "Belt and Road" framework and especially play an important role in such areas as trade, finance and infrastructure.
