On October 27, 2017, Vice Foreign Minister Wang Chao attended upon invitation the National Day reception of the Czech Republic held by the Czech Embassy in China, during which he exchanged views with Special Envoy of China-Czech relations for President of the Czech Republic and Chairman of Czech-China Friendship Association Jaroslav Tvrdik and Czech Ambassador to China Bedrich Kopecky on bilateral relations, the building of the Belt and Road Initiative, the "16+1"cooperation and other topics.
