On March 8, 2019, Vice Foreign Minister Wang Chao and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Lukáš Kaucký of the Czech Republic held the political consultation at vice-foreign ministerial level between China and the Czech Republic in Beijing. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations, the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries, international and regional issues of common concern and other issues.
